The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board chairman, Prof Oloyede Is-haq announced at a news conference at the end of an extensive meeting held with external examiners and other stakeholders that the board after due investigations has cancelled the results of about 59,698 candidates who sat for the examination on cases of examination malpractices and other ofences. he further noted that the board has also blacklisted 48 computer based-test (CBT) centres over their involvement extortion and organized examination malpractices during the 2017 examination. in his words, the delisting of 48 centres from participating in the board's examination in future is as a result of serious technical deficiencies, extortion, organized examination malpractices and other damaging infractions. while another 24 centres were suspended for the 2018 examination.
